What was the highlight of Econohotel Bogota

TOTAL RIPOFF!!!

Booking.com pre-charged me & said I would pay about 33k pesos at the hotel. Instead, the hotel said they get nothing from booking.com, & made me pay 140k pesos. So I was charged nearly double the advertised rate. The staff were nice, but this hotel appears to be run by CRIMINALS!!!

The location was ok with regards to the airport.

The rooms were quite noisy (a lot of noise & light every time someone was in the hallway). The double beds were not so large and not very confortable.

Well organized , staff and people helpful, clean rooms, good shower . Very good breakfast and well attended

Noise even there is no windows in the rooms. The walls are so thin and no table at the rooms

Hi, I just like to say it's a clean hotel with a good breakfast and a great location, close to the airport and the Transmilenium transportation, would recommend it!

Well, to be honest there is not that I did not like, except the wife slowed down on the last day

I would like to make a complaint about Econo Hotel in Bogota- Colombia where I have stayed for 1 night on the 25th of April 2018 and request for a full refund for that night. The staff service was appalling, very rude, and the state of the hotel it is not even close to the rating they have on Booking.com. We have arrived at the hotel around 7 PM on the day and after checking in at Reception one of the staff members helped us upstairs with the luggage. First room he took us too it was occupied, then he started opening another few rooms that were also occupied. In the end he called Reception and he was given a vacant room for us. That was quite an unpleasant situation. Once we were in the room with him I had a look at the bed lining as it seamed to me to be stained. When I went closer, I could see the duvet cover was full of stains everywhere, then I had a look at the bed shit and it was the same. We asked the staff member if they have another room so he took us to see it. We had a look at the bed lining in the new room and it was even worst, the pillows were very dirty (dark grey) and the bed lining full of stains so we decided to go back to the first room and asked him if they can change the bed lining for us. His answer was NO. I decided to speak with the receptionist about it and she said she is gonna change it for us in 15 minutes. After quite a long wait I went back to reception and she asked me to wait another 15 minutes. I told the Receptionist we were tired after a long journey and the next day we have a 24 hours journey back home so we need to get some sleep. At first she told me she was busy, even thought she was only counting her float. I could not believe her attitude so after a long conversation she said she cannot do anything as she was on her own and we have to wait. I waited at reception for 20 minutes, until her colleague came and he went to get some 'clean' lining.

Breakfast and wifi were ok.

1. No answer for email about early check in. When arived it was not possible. 2. No english speaking staff and not helpfull at all. 3. Because of a technical problem(can happened) there was not running a hot water, later no water even for flushing. Hotel staff knew it when checking in but not mensioned. Nobody willing to solve the problem, not even say sorry. After LONG negotiation got discount.

The lady who cooks breakfast was so friendly!

They had a Christian Bible on my nightstand that I put inside the drawer. They kept pulling it out as they cleaned my room. In my opinion, they should change that if they want to have people from everywhere. They also changed my toilet paper, towels, and soap everyday. Some people might like that, but besides being unnecessary, I think it has negative environmental effects.

Great stay. Can recommend.

Close to the airport, the kitchen and cleaning staff were superb.

The receptionist at the beginning ng were not nice, also the one at the end of my stay, really unprofessional. They need to be better at this.

Comfortable, lovely room. Very clean. Bathroom in great. Breakfast was a nice buffet. The staff i met were nice. Not far from the airport

It is a good place to stay for one night to catch a flight...

It is a good place to stay for one night to catch a flight the next day. The room and bed were comfortable, and the staff quite friendly.

False advertising! It says "free laundry" (pic) but it's not free. They charge 3000 pesos per piece. And there was no hot water, I had to shower in lukewarm water.
